Tom Hawkins was everything a DJ should be. He
worked with me from
beginning to end and was very flexible and responsive. I
loved the website he
offered to customize the music selection and create a
timeline for the evening. My wedding guests are still
talking about how wonderful he was. Made the night flow
smoothly from one event to the next so I didn't even
have to think about it, I knew he had it covered. His
equipment was great quality and he even edited a few
songs for me for my ceremony so that they were just
right. I had the night I had been envisioning for
months!

You will not find a
better DJ than Tom!
Tom provided the entertainment for
our Sept. 2011 wedding.
He was very professional, followed up on all calls
promptly and was the one to track us down as the time
got close and things got busy. The music selections were
dead on for the cocktail and dinner hour. Most I...importantly
was able to read what kind of songs the reception needed
at the right times. We were kind of leery about the
Newlywed game but loved it and got a lot of laughs! When
my groom blew out his knee on the dance floor, Tom was
able to read when to quiet the music, then slowly
started it back up and got everyone back out dancing.
Our cousins bought a giant stuffed banana at a yard sale
next door to the church, and he helped them incorporate
it into a surprise conga line that everyone joined in.
He even let our 8 year old son help him run some of the
equipment. He was accommodating, did his job and did it
well, and left all the focus on the two of us. I would
highly recommend Tom for any function in the future.

make our wedding a night to remember!
He worked with us before the wedding day to plan
every detail of the day to make sure that
everything ran smoothly. We were especially
impressed that he was able to help us with our
"custom" entrance. We're huge Bruins fans, so we
wanted our entrance to involve the Bruins goal
horn and goal song -- Tom was able to obtain all
of the right sound to make the entrance
one-of-a-kind! He also obtained songs that we
wanted that were not already on his playlist.
Throughout the night, he played every song that
we had requested
prior to the event, and he made room for songs
requested by friends and family. The online
planning tools are easy and convenient, and
overall, we could not be more satisfied with
Platinum Entertainment-- this should be the
easiest and best choice you make in the million
choices involved with wedding planning!

Our Senior prom was
held on June 1, 2011 at the Log Cabin. We
had a large class so more than 300 students attended
this event. The music was terrific, the DJ and
photographer were very professional and
fun. Everything was set
up on time and in the appropriate way. The students
were dancing and having a great time when tornadoes
came through our region and threatened the
skies. We were told to evacuate the building after
dinner and before the kids had their fill of music
and entertainment. There were many disappointed kids
leaving the building with only a promise of "we will
try to make this up to you" from me and the
administration. Before the building was even empty
we had a promise from The Log Cabin
and from Tom Hawkins that we would work something
out. They did not disappoint! We were offered a
place to hold a dance with a great dance floor for a
day the next week. With only days to prepare
Platinum Entertainment made good on their offer to
help out. They came to the
"re-prom"; set up early and played a variety of
songs that kept the students and their dates dancing
for hours. The photo booth was quite popular as
well. Thank you so much Platinum Entertainment for
the great evening. This will be a prom not to be
forgotten by any of these students. I would highly
recommend you to anyone who asked.

If you are planning a prom (or any event!),
I would highly and enthusiastically recommend
Platinum Entertainment. I was an advisor for the
Class of 2011 at Sharon High School and DJ Tom
Hawkins from Platinum Entertainment DJed the Junior
prom last year (2010), and the students LOVED him.
He played a great variety of popular songs, and
everyone had an awesome time dancing the night away.
He kept the event moving smoothly, and the dance
floor was packed all night. From an adult's
perspective, I was impressed by his professionalism.
He was great with the student leaders who needed to
contact him, and his website allowed students to
make song recommendations for the night of the event
(which they loved!). After the prom was over, I
heard students say so many positive things about the
night (the food, the location, etc.)--but the one
thing they mentioned the MOST was how great the DJ
was. In fact, my co-advisor, the student council,
and I loved Tom and Platinum Entertainment so much
that we booked him for this year's senior
prom--which was also an incredible success, thanks
to him. And it's worth noting that I booked him for
my wedding this July!! Platinum Entertainment is the
greatest DJ company with whom I've ever had the
pleasure of working. You can't go wrong if you book
with them! 5 stars!

As any Bride knows, picking your wedding DJ is
one the most important
and stressful decisions
you make while planning your perfect day. Well, rest
assured that if you choose Tom Hawkins, you will
not be disappointed. Tom was our DJ for our
wedding in Nashua, NH on August 27, 2010 and he was
absolutely amazing! I could not recommend him more
highly. My husband and I have two huge Irish
Catholic families and Tom had EVERYONE on the floor the
entire night. Even as the evening
wound down at 12:30 am, the dance floor was still
packed. Tom even acquiesced their cheers for "one more
song." One of the things I liked most about Platinum
Entertainment was their event planner system.
Basically, my husband and I were able to highlight some
songs we really liked and note dedications as well as
block those songs we did not want played. Tom listened
to all of our input and did not play any songs on our
"block" list. Most importantly, Tom was exceedingly nice
and professional and truly made our night perfect. I
know he definitely gained some fans at our wedding and
will most likely be called upon in the future to DJ many

job as DJ & MC at our wedding reception
in September! Since we did
not already have a DJ in mind, we did a lot of research
online before selecting Platinum Entertainment!! What
made us choose Platinum Entertainment was Tom’s high
level of friendliness and professionalism, the
reasonable prices, and the online planning tool (which
gave us one less thing to worry about during the
planning process!). Tom also went out of his way to set
up a second meeting with us a few months before the
wedding to review the details and answer all our final
planning questions. At our wedding reception the dance
floor was packed all night long and, all our guest are
still raving about how much fun they had. Also,
the dance floor lighting package we added on at the last

First of all, we would like to thank all the
people who wrote their testimonials about Tom
before we
 decided
to hire him. He was the only vendor we hired that was
not referred to us by a friend or family member, but he
had so many great recommendations that we decided to go
for it. And we are so glad we did! From A to Z during
the months leading up to the wedding, Tom was friendly,
accommodating, communicative and helpful. As we have
very specific music tastes, we appreciated his very
developed website which was a great tool for us when
selecting all of the songs we wanted played. Our wedding
was an international one (the bride is American and the
groom is French), and we wanted to make sure that there
was some French music played during the reception. Tom
was very open to this idea and offered to have us make
him a CD of the French songs we wanted played, which he
flawlessly integrated into the playlist during the
evening - it was a very appreciated personal touch! We
are also musicians, which meant that part of the night
was devoted to a live set played with some of our
friends and family, and Tom graciously offered to let us
use his microphone and sound system. We were so
surprised and pleased when we saw that even some of our
older guests stayed late to participate in the dancing,
and so much of that had to do with the great music. Many
of our guests have told us since the wedding how much
FUN they had, which is exactly what we
hoped for during our planning. We loved Tom and would
recommend him to anyone looking to throw a great party
that everyone will be sure to remember!

Choosing DJ Tom Hawkins
for our
wedding was one of the best planning decisions we
made for our big day. Not only was he professional,
but he went out of his way to make sure that we were
kept in the loop on things that popped up throughout
the night, and he even made time to personalize the
music based on our interests. (Nice touch with the
Muppets Rainbow Connection song!) The process of
planning and organizing during the reception with
Tom was so streamlined and easy that we were able to
breathe a sigh of relief that everything would be
taken care of on our wedding day. And best of all,

loved Tom!! He ended up being our favorite
vendor! Tom was the only vendor that checked in with us
over the year (almost all our vendors were booked 6-12
months in advance) just to see if we had any
questions/concerns. He was also very proactive about
getting in touch with us which was awesome because it
was so nice to have one less thing to do. He called us a
month prior to set up a final details call to go over
everything we could think of, he called us exactly at
the time he said he would. He did a great job the night
of our wedding and the dance floor was packed the entire

Tom was fantastic from the start! Very detailed and made
everything as easy as possible. His website is great -
you can do all the planning and pick your play and do
not play lists, as well as plan out other key items like
spotlight dances, centerpiece giveaways, etc.! Tom
played EXACTLY the music we wanted -- everything from
Jay-Z to Journey! He has the most up-to-date technology
available. Everything was done on computer! He had the
best song list ever! All the latest and greatest! For
our last dance we wanted Cascada's "Heaven" song to go
from slow to fast (because there are two versions), he
mixed it for us and made a custom song!! It was a great
way to end the night. Tom/Platinum Entertainment was a
real class act from start to finish. We would recommend

past January (2011), and he was a pleasure to work with.

We hired DJ Glenn
Kinney for my father's 70th birthday party.
There were about 75 guests ranging in age from 7 to 70+,
and Glenn was fantastic at keeping them all entertained.
Dad loves to laugh and play games, as do many of his
friends and family. Glenn worked with me via telephone
and the internet to come up with a plan to make sure
everyone had fun. There were trivia questions during the
cocktail and dinner hours; after dinner, Glenn came up
with 3 very fun games, including one that was a
hysterical cross between a scavenger hunt & musical
chairs. In between and after all the game playing, Glenn
& his assistant played an excellent variety of music. He
also provided a lot of technical assistance to my
brother, who set up a photo montage and sang a touching
tribute song for Dad. We had a very willing group of
game playing participants & dancers, but Glenn really
got everyone into the party mood and I honestly don't
think it would have been the same party without him. I
am still hearing from guests about what a great time
they had, and my father didn't stop smiling for days. I
highly recommend DJ Glenn & Platinum Entertainment!

"We hired Platinum Entertainment to DJ a delegate dance
at our Model United Nations debate
conference and were very impressed. Tom and his
associates were professional, energetic, and upbeat on
"the night of" and diligent in staying in touch over the
months "leading up to" as we prepared for our
conference. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback
from students, teachers, and our own staff. I called
Tom on the night of our event and it turned out he had
already started setting up for the event. With a new
venue and new vendors for our conference this year, I
wanted to be extra sure that everything was where it
needed to be and going well. When I opened the door to
the ballroom, I was blown away by the quality and sheer

a bride, I know how stressful it can be to make sure
everything is done perfectly. Your online tool kept me
in control of the details if I chose to be, which was
more than I can say for the rest of the wedding planning
process! On top of that, you did not rush us at all,

Every month we have dances for the
Nissitissit middle school
students which always sell out

with our wedding on New Years Eve. Everything went off
quite smoothly, even the Mickey Mouse part (which I had
no idea was going to occur !) was great. Not only the
entertainment at the wedding but the pre-wedding
planning before made us more relaxed. We will definitely

did. PS: The last dance Disney love song mix you made for
us was something special as this is where we got engaged
and went to for our honeymoon.

Tom was very helpful with the
planning stages of the wedding. He made us feel
comfortable and we felt that we didn't have anything to
worry about. There were some things that we weren't too
sure about, and Tom was able to offer ideas to make our
day more enjoyable for all of our guests. His song
selections were right on target and we were happy to see
people up and dancing all day. There isn't anything else
that Tara and I could have asked for. Everyone had a
good time and enjoyed the day.

sixteen party we found your site. We loved that you can

trying to find a song you didn't have in you music

Platinum Entertainment not only
played the music for our Hawaiian Luau theme reception,
they also provide music for the wedding ceremony. Tom
you did an incredible job and we were extremely pleased
with the timing of the music (for the ceremony) and his
professionalism throughout the day. He was very
accommodating and he kept the mood right the entire
evening. Everyone commented on what a great job our DJ
did and how smooth everything went. I have thrown a lot
of parties and this is, by far, the best DJ I have used
yet!

We weren't sure about getting a dj,
cause they can make or brake your reception, but Tom
came highly recommenced and superseded our expectations
in every way! He met with us before and was so organized
and energetic and made sure that we had fun. We've never
seen a wedding where EVERYBODY danced and we will give

enough about Ed, he was right there when I needed him,he helped me with the song selection, ED also
interacting with the children. I also liked the fact he
asked me if I minded a few songs the kids picked out all
